Not always a liposuction can solve the problem of those having "thick" thighs. In some cases, the liposuction leaves an excess of skin and it is necessary to resort to the plastic surgery too. In this case, the liposuction removes the fat and the lifting in the interior of the thighs removes the skin, leaving the thigh firmer. Because it is a difficult surgery, some women are hesitate if it is worth or not to have it. In fact, this surgery requires slower recovery because it affects an extensive area of the body. The lifting in the interior of the thighs is, however, as safe as any other plastic surgery.
The intervention is performed under epidural anesthesia. The incision is made in a manner that the scar is located in a natural fold in the groin area and the scar is very discrete and almost imperceptible. The postoperative phase is somewhat uncomfortable, because the patient has to stay in the clinic for about two days and, once at home, she has to wear a restraint dressing (a kind of pantyhose). If the medical recommendations are correctly followed, the patient will be soon able to resume her routine activities about two weeks after the surgery. It may not be a simple surgery, but the result is quite satisfactory. As a matter of fact, what kind of woman would not feel freer being able to wear short skirts and trunks?
